Challenge

The Halal Guys Franchise, Inc. needed an updated site that reflected the evolution of the brand. It had humble beginnings as a single food cart in Midtown, New York City in 1990. But since 2013, THG had rapidly expanded into a fast casual franchise with nearly 100 brick and mortar restaurants across 3 continents.

Solution

An entirely new design + staying true to its Halal/Egyptian roots + reflecting the key demographic: American Millennials and Gen Zers.

THG felt that a new site was long overdue. The goal was a sleek, more modern looking site that still incorporated the brand’s red and yellow colors. In partnership with Gourmet Marketing, we were able to build and launch a brand new site that offered easy online ordering capabilities for delivery, pickup, and catering and also send a warm invite for users to join The Halal Guys’ Rewards Program and join the ranks of over 65,000 members.

Fully responsive & Mobile Friendly.

A responsive site is essential for pretty much any site in 2020. But restaurants get a signifiant amount of their revenue from orders that are placed via mobile—so it’s basically life or death in their industry.
